Juniors

The Junior Club is open to players aged seven to sixteen and meets on a Friday evening from 7pm until 8pm. New players are always welcome so please contact us for more information.

Coaching is available after the main club session from 8pm until 9pm. Internal competitions and tournaments are regularly organised to enable players to test their skills. Inter club tournaments are also entered by many members of the club.

Club night is every Friday 7pm – 8pm £2.50 per session & coaching session 8pm – 9pm £3.00 per session.

Diary dates:

The junior club generally runs in parallel with the school terms. However, as different schools occasionally have different term times, the following dates will apply to the junior club for this season: 

• Friday 9th September
• Closed for half term holiday Friday 28th October
• Restarting Friday 4th November
• Closed for Christmas holiday Friday 14th December
• Restarts Friday 6th January 2012

Matches:

The first friendly match of the season for junior years 10 & 11 will be held on Friday 18th November at Park High School Colne, against Colne Juniors – 6:00pm start until 7:30pm. The team will consist of 4 players (boys/girls-not mixed but level doubles). Team selection will be nearer the time.

Both teams will nominate a 'Player of the Day' from the opposition & the nominated players will receive a certificate.

Skipton Junior Club session will still be run as normal.

A match will be arranged later in the season for years 7,8 & 9.
